Dr. Ahmed Bdour
Full Professor at Civil Engineering department at the Hashemite University, Jordan. Mr. Bdour graduated from Washington State University in 2004 with a PhD of Civil Engineering with a focus on Sediment transport and hydrodynamic modeling. His research interests lie in the area of modeling of hydrodynamics and sediments/fate transport in estuaries and marine ecosystems. He has served as a PI for many funded research projects in water quality, flood mitigations, wastewater treatment, and environmental impacts on fish and aquatic life. He has over 15 years of experience at all levels of public education. He has been a researcher, professor, consultant, department chair, and vice dean of scientific research. In addition, he has published more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
